The SALT Council manages several programs that constitute the ST. TAMMANY SALT COUNCIL SENIOR SECURITY PROGRAM. Each of the program components can be viewed and used separately:

Residential Security & Safety
Personal Safety
Fire Safety
Driving Safety
Emergency Preparedness
These components are offered during the Senior Security Seminars that are held throughout the parish several times each year. The subjects of each seminar vary based on previous presentations in the area, specific calendar-based issues (Hurricane Season, Christmas Holiday Season, etc.), and specific requests from the sponsoring or host organizations.

Senior Evacuation Notification System - SENS
The SALT Council works closely with St. Tammany Parish government on the SENS program to make sure Seniors can be accounted for after a hurricane. For complete information about this important program you can download the SENS brochure on the Downloads page.
